I've fallen in love with the city,Tokyo, since the first time i saw Lost in Translation. the Tokyo from Sofia's aspect is tender and romantic...but what about from MR. GONDRY??

He's gonna shivers down my spine,I bet!

By the way, the other two directors are Joon-ho Bong (The Host) and Leos Carax( i dont know his films :0)

This lady cought my eye (and ear) when i first saw Elf. I was amazed by the voice of the girl singing in shower, vintage and cosy.But not until i got the She & Him album as my Xmas gift did I fall TOTALLY in love with this sweet chick! She is Zooey Deschanel, my current love!

The album, Volume One, has some infectious power, you found yourself tapping with the melody unnoticeably. Each song gives you a little push of the bittersweet real life, a cute and optimistic push. For example,the first sentence in This is not a test - For those of you who tried, but didn't make it, Settle down it's never what you think- didn't this frank line just describe your cruel life so accurately but also encourage you at the same time?? And Black Hole,in which a delightful tone mate the lyrics decribing my status surprisingly and precisely, i can listen to it over and over and over again!!! I think the arrangemant of the songs is funny intended, depress u in Sentimental Heart and then bound u up in Why Do You Let Me Stay Here? You know that Change Is Hard but then u couldnt help but fall in love again in I Thought I Saw Your Face Today. Tell you to Take It Back!!then realize that I Was Made For You....Life is full of ups and downs ;) I love the album through and through.

Zooey's enchanting voice is a gift from god! i wish could have a vocie with the depth she've got in her voice (Ah~~~)

I'm planning to see Yes Man in theater several weeks later beacause they are more people in theater when the movie just came out and that will make me inaccessible to screaming in the thearter room when ever my Zooey appears!!! :P

No this is not enough! i want more Zooey!! :D Give me moreee ~ 500 days of Zooey~

Cute bag i bought today

This morning, i was shopping in the local market nearby.

I bought this cute Bohemian pattern bag. (there were many different kinds of patterns and were all super cute!)

I LOVE iT!! Especially knowing its only 100 dollars!!(about 3 dollars US)

It can either be a hang bag or a shoulder bag :) cant wait to find matching clothes!

Sofia and Kirsten at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009: Marc Jacobs After Party 08/09

I love them SO much since Sofia's film, The Virgin Suicides. Sofia's aesthetic sensibility is unquestionable. Every single moment in her movie is a picture, a beautiful scenery. And her picks for sound stracks is superb.

The Virgin Suicides tells a breathlessly picturesque story about the short-lived Lisbon girls and was perfectly flavored with music from Air. I'm totally obesessed with the entire movie. Kirsten's character, Lux ,which is probably her best performance ever. She portrayed the lost and debauched 14-year-old remarkably (well..maybe looking much more mature than a 14-year-old :P)

Lost in Translation. Sofia told another beautiful story about a lost woman lost in foreign country and met a man in his mid-age crisis. The fellow two became so close in few days in the unfamiliar city, Tokyo. Once again, the soundstack was perfectly picked( Kevin Shields, My Bloody Valentine...)It was a romantic journey.

　

Marie Antoinette. We saw how the legendary teenage girl rocked the Versailles. Cakes, clothes, parties...She just another lost girl. I like the idea that we see a historic character in a brand new view (even a teen view). The historical movie mat be controversial; But its influence to fashion world is undeniable. 　　　 17th Century + New Oder = Awsome!!

　

Sofia introduced me the particular beauty in Kirsten. She saw the unique beauty in Kirsten that’s why she would let her be the lead role in her films more than once. Hope to see more and more Sofia’s works since she may be busy raising baby. :P

Tomorrow is the Moon Festival, people usually have bbq and enjoy the sight of the round moon. But this year, with the typhoon, no more bbq :( We'll just stay home and shelter. Nevermind! I still hav pomelos and Moon cakes and that's enough:)




Earlier today, we thought the weather was ok so my dad, sis and I went out for some clothes which are on final sale. This was how the weather intimidate us-- the fierce wind broke our umbrella and we all end up wet.
